Does ‘The Acolyte’ Tarnish Anakin Skywalker’s Legacy?

Questions over whether Anakin Skywalker’s birth and legacy were making their way across portions of the fandom after episode three of Star Wars: The Acolyte. As a massive Anakin Skywalker fan, I empathize with the desire to be quick to the defense of the Chosen One. However, I don’t think the argument that his birth and legacy are now meaningless or altered in a negative way hold much weight. To explain myself further I dropped a quick video on how this could be so, and why I’d argue Anakin’s legacy is now even more important.

The knowledge of witches and of course, the Sith manipulating the Force to create life signifies just how important it was for the Force to will Anakin into being. He serves as a possible ultimate balance to the scales. Stories like this just amplify his importance. I hope the video serves as a quality explanation of this argument. If you still feel like The Acolyte is tarnishing the legacy of Anakin, I’d be curious to know why. Feel free to drop those comments below. I’m certainly open to a discussion and see if there is something I have not thought of! As always, for Light and Life and may the Force be with you.
